Staring down cabin fever, Janis truck and I went for a little drive into the Chihuahuan desert late afternoon Saturday March 28.

The desert floor was alive with blooming colour .

Ancestral presence : mountains, sun, sky, rock and herb.

Reptile brain watch over us all: birth now the ancient way of being. Again.

Stone people : record keepers.

This, this overflowing emptiness is the true hoard.
