I’ve been pondering a backyard safety hazard a while now.
The person I commissioned to make my washing line was quite short, resulting in the sharp metal ends of the poles just above my head but probably at forehead height for certain relatives, especially one who spends a lot of time in gardens. The area is high traffic as it is also the route to the compost and soil amendment bins
Recenty I realized that planting lavender around the end pole would stop anyone walking too close to them.
One thing led to another and a new heart shaped herb garden bed has evolved.
I think this will be called the Preventative Medicine Garden.
