Garlic harvest is almost done, a month or so earlier than I was expecting.
The bulbs are mostly heavy and full so I was reading the plant signs of drooping and browning correctly.
After spending some time making braids and hanging them to cure, the weight snapped the ancient washlines in the workshop which were inherited from a previous inhabitant of the property.
I might have anticipated that they were pretty worn.
Now there are bundles of garlic everywhere in my yoga studio waiting for me to string new, strong curing lines.
