Polynesian canoe plants have made it to this “island”.

On March 30th, collected my two kalo (taro) plants, purchased online from Baker Creek Seeds.

They are going into containers under the cottonwood.

Experiments with healing, survival, sustainable food plants in the Chihuahuan desert continue.

Uala (sweet potato) will come next. Just need nighttime temperatures to be consistently a tad warmer.
