My breakfast treat baking this week turned into sheet pan blackberry vanilla scones made with coconut sugar.
I happened to come across some reduced price, nearing sell-by date, blackberries when shopping for oranges to fill my post vaccination food-as-medicine prescription.
Blackberries are not something I usually buy this time of year as they are not in season here yet, and these needed to be cooked rather than eaten fresh.
I will probably freeze half of these.
