August weekend work: Tribulus terrestris (aka puncture vine, goats head, devil thorns, duiweltjies, etc) eradication.
The legacy of July’s monsoons: by August the little desert casita is carpeted in this creeping pioneer with the most devilish three pronged thorn.
My goal is to be able to walk barefoot on this little piece of earth.
I estimate it will take three years of August diligence: getting them before they produce seeds/thorns.
