Zinnia elegans , the most common garden zinnia, is originally native to Mexico but the plant has been much hybridized (domesticated and bred for showy flowers) as a hot climate garden staple. Pollinators love the bright blooms in a range of brilliant colours. They are good cut flowers and plants can grow up to three feet in height given adequate sun and water. The seed is harvested from open pollinated plants in the Harden of Earthly Delights in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico and packaged in individually hand block printed 2inch by 3 inch manilla seed envelopes.
