Cosmos bipinnatus or garden cosmos is native to the Americas and an easy to grow, popular flowering annual which likes full sun to afternoon shade in southern New Mexico. There have been many cultivars and these seeds, while open pollinated, will probably produce 24 - 36 inch tall plants with blooms ranging from white, through pinks to magenta, depending on where the pollinators wandered. The seeds are harvested from the Garden of Earthly Delight in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico and are packaged in hand block printed 2inch by 3inch manilla seed envelopes.
