Today’s aquatic yoga therapy session for the rotator cuff is in the yellow room at Pelican Spa.
In 2015, when first I encountered this town, the yellow room was the first place I experienced the healing waters of this geography.
The deep window recess , which now holds an ac unit, provided perch for a big curvy Mexican terracotta planter spilling over with wandering tendrils of purple Tradescantia pallida (aka Purple Heart or Wandering Jew). All my current indoor and outdoor plantings of Tradescantia pallida date from pieces shed by that beauty in the window.
I understand the upgrade value of ac units in the soaking rooms, but I do miss the potted plant in the window. Painting on the wall remains the same.
