Quarantine Kitchen

After a few dawn hours taking on weeds and asserting some authority (ha ha as if) over the wild domain, a shower and yoga, I’m ready for a dirty horchata which is horchata poured over espresso ice blocks.

Part of my daily summer routine is making espresso ice blocks daily. Hot coffee after early morning gardening doesn’t quite do it. After yesterday’s alchemical outcomes, I have a refrigerator full of fresh made horchata.

Yes I’ve probably totally gone over to the dark side with designer drinks. I mean how do I even know that dirty horchata is a thing.


I blame it on the #quarantinekitchen. That and the internet.
