Not quite a peck, but the first pickled peppers of the season have been set to mature.

The little jar is Jalapeños, the taller is Serranos. Both are hot. Garlic, spices and apple cider vinegar will round out the flavour.


Starting to fill the pantry shelves with tasty delights for the cool season menus.
