Night soirée

At play in the fields of the night blooms.

Just before dawn, when the waning crescent moon dances with the stars in the eastern sky, moonflower perfume is strongest.

Just after sunrise 2 hours later Madame Moonflower (Datura wrightii) is still resplendent to look at, but the perfume is gone.

Blooms will last a few hours into day but be spent by noon.
