Diwali blessings from the jaws of the tiger
Releasing light on the river, the Faucaria tigrina
(aka Tiger jaw crassula) has decided to bloom just in time for Diwali this year.
I am glad to see signs of healthy thriving in this tiny beauty from the old country which must, of necessity, live in captivity in a pot.
Soon, very soon now, this little one and all the other tender cacti, aloes and succulents will have to move inside for protection against the cold desert nights.
