Releasing light on the river, the Faucaria tigrina
(aka Tiger jaw crassula) has decided to bloom just in time for Diwali this year.
I am glad to see signs of healthy thriving in this tiny beauty from the old country which must, of necessity, live in captivity in a pot.
Soon, very soon now, this little one and all the other tender cacti, aloes and succulents will have to move inside for protection against the cold desert nights.
