In early spring, when I first put up the cattle panels across the front, it looked jarring and prison like.

They are intended for melon trellises but today I no longer notice the rigid metal lines and once those baby melon plants take off it will be even better.

Yeah I need to do some work weeding and generally neatening up the sidewalks but Casa de Colores!

The flowering desert shrubs - Desert Willow and Yellow Desert Bird of Paradise, planted 2019, are blooming marvelous.

Sunflowers stand taller than the hacienda roof and hollyhocks ah! hollyhocks! protect and provide privacy on that southwest corner
