*Aloha kakahiaka is a morning greeting in Hawaiian.

It can just be said as a standard greeting but may also be vocalized from the throat as a kind of chant or invocation elongating and emphasizing some sounds eg aloooooooooHA kakahiiiiaaaKA! with a forceful outbreath on the emphasized segments after the long vowels fully emptying the lungs.

In this form it becomes a Hawaiian version of dawn pranayama (yogic breathwork).
