Accidental minimalist

Two benches and a small table have sprung from the (sizeable, sprawling) recycled lumber pile.


I have been meaning to make these for about four years - ever since the porch project at the little adobe casita generated these particular leftover pieces of wood.


There’s an interesting, (accidental) Japanese bathhouse minimalism to these pieces which have been sanded and well oiled to withstand the rigors of Chihuahuan desert weather.
